In Idaho, there are no laws pertaining specifically to bounty hunters in the state.  In performing his/her functions, a bounty hunter must comply with any applicable laws of the state.

Pursuant to Idaho Code § 41-1045, a bail agent is responsible for the actions of the bail agent’s employees, contractors, and agents acting on the bail agent’s behalf in relation to bail transactions and matters arising out of bail transactions.
